This recipe has been in my family for four generations.
Ingredients:
Japanese chile pods (a pinch full amount)
Oregano (1 teaspoon)
Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)
Salt (1 teaspoon)
Tomato sauce can (8 oz can)
Water
Steps:
Grab a pinch full amount of Japanese chile pods and put them in the blender
Put 1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz can) in blender
Fill the tomato sauce can halfway with water and pour that into the blender
Add 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt into the blender
Blend all the ingredients together in the blender
Adjust to taste, if you want
Serve and enjoy with some tortilla chips!
