Red Salsa Recipe


This recipe has been in my family for four generations.


Ingredients:

  • Japanese chile pods (a pinch full amount)

  • Oregano (1 teaspoon)

  • Garlic powder (1 teaspoon)

  • Salt (1 teaspoon)

  • Tomato sauce can (8 oz can)

  • Water


Steps:

  1. Grab a pinch full amount of Japanese chile pods and put them in the blender

  2. Put 1 can of tomato sauce (8 oz can) in blender

  3. Fill the tomato sauce can halfway with water and pour that into the blender

  4. Add 1 teaspoon of oregano, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon of salt into the blender

  5. Blend all the ingredients together in the blender

  6. Adjust to taste, if you want

  7. Serve and enjoy with some tortilla chips!
